Read all instructions before starting any work. This kit is designed to connect to DynoMax Blackjack painted / Cyclone ceramic coated, or competitive brand, full length Headers.
1. Bolt adapter plates 703828 to hangers 703825 and 159496 using the ⁵⁄₁₆”-18thd x ģ⁄₄” bolts and nuts provided. See the system diagram for parts identification. The plates will allow 2đ⁄₂” size saddle clamps to be connected to the hangers.
2. On the cross member frame of the vehicle, slightly forward of the rear axle, there is a set of two mounting holes on each side, LH and RH, which will be used to mount hanger 703825 on the LH side and hanger 159496 on the RH side. use the ⁵⁄₁₆” -18thd x 1″ bolts nuts provided.
3. Place h-pipe 704142 in its approximate position underneath the vehicle and support with stand.
4. Connect the inlet of the mufflers, 703824, to the rear of the h-pipe. Place the outlets of the mufflers into the rear 703825 and 159496. Be sure the mufflers are level. Use jack stands to hold in place. The outlet of the mufflers should be offset toward the outboard side of the car. Please see system diagram.
5. Place the RH tail pipe 704144 in position over the axle on the RH side of the vehicle. Do the same with the LH tail pipe 704143. When installing the tail pipes, the rear of the car must be supported by the frame with jack stands allowing the axle to hang down.
6. Bolt the tail pipe rear hangers, 704162, into the stock locations on the rear quarter frame rails using the ⁵⁄₁₆” x 1″ bolts, washers, and nuts provided. The holes may need to be drilled out to accept the ⁵⁄₁₆” bolts.
7. Clamp the rear of the tail pipes, to the hangers just installed with (2) 2đ⁄₂” clamps.
8. Insert the tail pipes into the muffler outlets and adjust the mufflers tail pipes into their approximate final position.
9. Install reducer adapters 703094, flanges 160771, and gaskets 160401 onto the header collectors and attach with the nuts and bolts provided.
10. Hold the front header extension pipes 704141 up to the reducer adapters and the h-pipe 704142. Measure the extension pipes for possible cut-off. You may need to cut-off on each end for the best fit. Once the cut-offs have been made, clamp the extension pipes to the reducer adapters and h-pipe. You may need to remove the reducer adapters from the headers to insert the the extension pipes and clamp properly. Please see diagram.
11. Beginning at the inlet end, align all system components and tighten all connections.
