INSTALLATION NOTES
1. Unless specified, mount all Sub-Frame components to vehicle before tightening any bolts.
2. Vehicle should be parked on a level surface with the
front suspension normally loaded.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Locate existing slotted holes in vehicle frame rails directly above front axle.
2. Install Mounting Bracket (#3)RH, using three (3) 5/8″ x 2″ Capscrews (#10) Washers, and Nylock Nuts provided.
3. For W100-W150 Pickup, Trailduster, & Ramcharger. Install Mounting Bracket (#4)LH using three (3) 5/8″ x 2″ Capscrews (#10) Washers, and Nylock Nuts provided. Tighten Capscrews to Torque Specification Chart. For W250 and W350 Pickups. Install Mounting Bracket (#4A)LH using three (3) 5/8″ x 2″ Capscrews (#10) Washers, and Nylock Nuts provided. Tighten Capscrews to Torque Specification Chart.
NOTE: Align rivet relief holes in Mounting Brackets with rivets in frame.
4. Install Front Crossmember (#2) utilizing existing holes in lower lip of vehicle front cross- member. Secure using six (6) 1/2″ x 1-1/2″ Capscrews (#8), double Washers, and Nylock Nuts provided. Tighten Capscrews to Torque Specification Chart.
5. Raise Sub-Frame Assembly (see #1) to Front Crossmember and secure with four (4) 5/8″ x 1-1/2″ Capscrews (#11) Washers, and Nylock Nuts provided. Level Sub-Frame Assembly and Front Crossmember then tighten Capscrews to Torque Specification Chart.
6. Install Adjustable Support Link between Mounting Brackets and rear mounting ears on Sub-Frame Assembly as shown. Secure to Sub-Frame and Mounting Brackets using four (4) 5/8″ x 2-1/2″ Capscrews (#12) and Nylock Nuts provided.
7. Using the Torque Specification Chart below, torque remaining Capscrews starting at the rear and working forward.
