Always keep safety in mind when working on your vehicle.
I. Preparing the Vehicle
1. Begin the installation by elevating the car. Secure the frame with jack stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Remove the coil springs from each side of the vehicle and discard.

II. Assembling the Air Springs
1. Assemble the springs as illustrated in Figure 2.
a. Place roll plates (C) on the top of the air spring (A) and roll plates (B) on the bottom. Install the air fitting (J) to the top of the air spring. Tighten finger tight plus 1 1/2 turns, being careful to tighten on the metal hex nut only.
CAUTION: Overtightening of the fitting will cause it to strip and bottom out on the air spring end cap.
b. Install the lower bracket (D) to the roll plate on the bottom of the air spring assembly and fasten with two 3/8″ bolts (F), two lock washers (G), and two flat washers (H). Tighten to 20 ft./lbs.
NOTE: The larger side of the lower bracket should be facing the outside of the vehicle. The bracket needs to be centered over the roll plate and bellows.
c. Fasten the upper bracket to the top of the air spring using two 3/8″ bolts (F), two lock washers (G), and two flat washers (H). Tighten to 20 ft./lbs.
NOTE: The larger side of the upper bracket should face towards the outside of the vehicle. The bracket needs to be centered over the roll plate and bellows.
