1. Unclip and remove the MAS (Mass Air Sensor) from the intake hoses.
2. Unclip and remove the electrical harness plug from the MAS and remove the MAS from the car.
3. Unscrew and remove the complete air box assembly.

1. Remove the nut securing the control valve bracket to the battery tray. Attach the new flat mounting bracket to the stud and secure using the original nut.
2. Refit the MAS to the new intake hose and secure with the studded hose clip supplied.
3. Attach the studded clip to the new mounting bracket using a nut, flat washer and spring washer supplied.

1. Attach the new bent mounting bracket to the front upper air box mounting point using the original securing screw.
2. Loosely attach the studded clip to the bracket using a nut, flat washer and spring washer supplied.

1. Fit the new intake hose onto the MAS and loosely tighten the hose clip supplied Insert the other end of the hose into the studded clip
2. Fit the metal
tube up to the step in the filter base. Do not push in beyond the step as this will affect air flow. Tighten the clip until the filter just turns, then give the clip one full turn (360 degrees) no more. Do not overtighten the clip.
3. Fit the filter assembly in the intake hose. Rotate the filter so the K&N logo is straight.
4. Adjust the intake hose / filter assembly so that it clears any bodywork etc. Tighten the clips on the intake hose and the nut on the studded clip.
5. Reconnect the electrical harness plug to the MAS.
