Read and understand these instructions BEFORE attempting to install this product
1) Getting Started
a) Make sure vehicle is parked on a level surface.
b) Set parking brake.
c) If engine has run with in the past two hours let it cool down.
d) Disconnect negative battery terminal. ~:
e) Raise front of truck and support with properly rated jack stands.
f) Remove passenger side, front tire.
2) Removal of the stock intake system
a) Your stock air intake system should look like this.
b) Loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body.
c) Loosen the hose clamp at the air box.
d) Unclip the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector.
e) Remove the crankcase breather hose. This hose will not be reused. Remove inlet tube.
f) Loosen and remove nut.
g) Remove breather tube from the air box. Remove the rubber connector from the breather tube. Gently pull up the air box and remove.
h) Loosen and remove bolt. This bolt will be reused.
i) Loosen and remove the mounting bolts to the spare battery tray. This hardware will be used later.
j) Remove the fender liner to access the lower mounting bracket to the spare battery tray.
