READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS BRACKETRON PHONE MOUNT. All instructions are written from the drivers seat position looking forward at the vehicle dash. We advise caution whenever your removing or handling plastic parts of a vehicles dash. WARNING: Unnecessary force or pressure can cause pieces to crack or break.
TOOLS NEEDED: Dash Trim Tool, (Part #SIT-104), 10mm socket and driver, #2 Phillips screwdriver.
PARTS INCLUDED: One phone mount , Three (3) #8×3/4” self tapping screws
LOCATION OF MOUNT: To the right of the radio
Start by applying the emergency brake. Place the transmission shift lever into the neutral position. Remove the trim bezel that surrounds the shift lever using the dash trim panel tool. In the left corner of the bezel start working the trim panel loose releasing six (6) clips. Carefully remove the bezel and place it in a safe place. Locate and remove the two screws that are directly in front of the shifter lever. Locate and open the tray cover to the left of the power outlet. Locate and remove the screw at the bottom of the tray. Remove the tray by lifting it out and releasing two (2) clips toward the bottom. Locate and remove the two (2) screws that are underneath the tray. Using the dash trim tool, release three (3) clips that hold the power outlet assembly. Place the assembly in a safe place. Locate the dash bin above the power outlet. Remove the screws that are in the lower corners of the bin. Close the door and pull the bin out. Place the bin in a safe place. Locate and remove two (2) hex head screws that secure the lower section of the radio module. Set the screws aside. Using the dash trim panel tool, remove the air vent that is above the radio. Carefully insert the tool in the lower right corner of the air vent. Pull toward you to release the first clip. Perform this same action in the center of the vent and in the lower left corner of the vent for a total of three clips. Grasp the vent and carefully pivot it upward and out to release the top section of the vent. Set the vent aside. Locate and remove three (3) Phillips screws at the top of the radio. Set screws aside. Using the dash trim panel tool, locate and release three (3) clips at the bottom of the radio just below the large round knobs. Carefully grasp the radio and let it hang. Note: Do not disconnect the wire attached to the radio. Insert the Bezel Mount in the upper right corner of the radio cavity. The Bezel Mount bottom edge should rest on a ledge inside the cavity. Use the supplied #8×3/4” self tapping screws and #2 Phillips screwdriver to secure the mount. Insert and tighten the first screw in the top hole to assist in the proper angle, then insert the remaining two (2) screws.
