Bumper removal and cutting is required for the Fiat Croma (see separate sheet), but not for the Vauxhall Vectra.
1. Lift the floor covering in the boot and remove the rear panel trim and the two side panels. Locate the dimples provided in the floor and rear panel. (Removal of mastic compound may be required to reveal the dimples and to ensure correct seating of Spreader Plates (E)). At dimples in floor drill holes of just sufficient size to insert Bushes (F) into the frame (top surface only).
Insert Bushes (F), position Spreader Plates (E) and Sidearms (D) as shown below – use Bolts (H) inserted from above to keep bushes etc in position.
2. Remove the rearmost exhaust hangers and lower exhaust box to allow access to chassis (remove any mastic from contact face), insert the Crossbar (A) inside bumper over exhaust(s) and loosely attach at the existing holes in the vehicle frame using Bolts (H) fitted from above.
3. Finally, Tighten all Bolts, fit bolt caps (BC) to bolts (H) and refit trim.
4. On Fiat Croma models cut bumper as shown on second sheet and refit bumper in reverse order.
