DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY OF DIFF DROP KIT
1. Remove the 2 diff bolts on driver side differential that attach the diff housing to the frame mount. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DB) using new M12 X 1.75 X 50 bolts. This is to space the diff down ―” to improve the angle on the CV boots. See Fig. A
2. Repeat this process on the passenger side of the vehicle. Remove the 2 OEM diff nuts on passenger side differential that attach the housing to the frame. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DA) utilizing the supplied M12 x 1.75 nylon locking nuts. See Fig. B

3. Remove the brake line brackets that attach the brake lines to the upper control arm using a 10mm socket. See Fig C & D
4. Remove the sway bar end links using a 15mm wrench on the top nut and a 15mm socket on the bolt head at the bottom.
5. Remove the steering tie rod ends using a 21mm socket (ball joint removal tool to be used here).
6. Remove upper ball joint nut using an 18mm box end wrench or socket and separate upper A-arm from cast spindle with appropriate GM tool or equivalent. See Fig G
7. Remove the lower strut mounting bolts using a 15mm socket. See Fig H
8. Remove upper strut mounting bolts using a 12mm socket. See Fig I
9. Gently remove the strut from the vehicle.
REWORKING THE OEM STRUT WITH THE REVTEK PARTS
10. Mark the struts for alignment and for passenger/driver side with a paint pen.
11. Compress the strut and remove the center nut using a 12mm socket.
12. Install the Revtek preload spacers “P/N PLS-C1” here. See Fig. K
13. Compress the strut with the new part installed and tighten the center nut until it bottoms on the threads.
14. Install the top out spacer “P/N TOE-5” over the 3 studs and place the strut back into the vehicle reversing the prior procedures.
15. Align the front end and adjust the headlights!!
