Remove the heat exchanger from its carton and inspect for any obvious physical damage. All kit components are thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged prior to shipment from the factory. If any shipping damage is evident, contact your supplier and request that they process a claim with the shipper involved. Be sure to review the parts list on page 3 to verify that you have all necessary system components to proceed. If any components in the parts list are missing, contact Turbonetics’ customer service staff.

Removing the front bumper
1.) Drain the coolant out of the radiator into a 5 gallon bucket by loosening the drain plug on the driver side corner.
2.) Remove the factory front bumper by unbolting the ten 18mm bolts.
3.) It may be necessary to pop the plastic inner fender liner out of both front wheel wells.
4.) Disconnect the positive battery cable from both batteries and the negative cable from the passenger side battery. Remove the passenger side battery. Using a 10mm socket, remove the four bolts that secure the positive battery cable to the radiator.
5.) Remove the engine coolant over flow canister by pulling it upwards.
6.) Unplug the harness to the windshield washer fluid pump and the harness to the low fluid sensor (where applicable) on the bottom of the reservoir. Disconnect the hose that is connected to the windshield washer pump.
7.) Remove the upper radiator hose and remove windshield washer reservoir.
8.) Using a 10mm socket, remove four bolt that secure the fan shroud to the radiator.
