After the Video Module is installed on the vehicle, it might need to be custom programmed (depends on your vehicle year/model/op ons).  Each kit comes with the Mini-­‐Keypad that must be used to program the Video Module.
How to Use Mini-­‐Keypad:
•  MENU: Switching to the previous mode.
•  SEL: Selection in menu, switching AV sources.
•  UP: Move Up or to the Left
•  DOWN: Move Down or to the Right
•  FACTORY MODE* (Interface Custom Programming Mode):
Operated by pressing UP→ Down→ UP→MENU *Note: In order to get into the Factory Mode (Custom Programming mode) you would have to have an image displayed on the iDrive screen that is coming from the Video Module(AV1,AV2, or AV3). Another option is to put your car in Reverse Gear (if you have rear camera installed).
Factory MODE (Custom Programming Mode):
• UTIL: Rear Selection (Rear Camera Detection Method Selection):
-LAMP : Detecting Rear Cam by rear lamp in vehicle (For vehicles with Manual Transmission)
-CAN : Detecting Rear Cam by CAN Signal (‘CAN’ wires of power should be connected with CAN wires in vehicle)
