Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of OEM exhaust. This will allow the computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks like the drawing and compare parts with manual.
1. Remove the stock exhaust by removing it from the 2-bolt flange located in front of the muffler. Disengage the welded hangers using WD-40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage stock nuts and bolts or remove the rubber grommets as you will re-use them to mount your new system. Now, cut off tailpipe and remove exhaust.

With a used vehicle, we suggest a penetrating spray lubricant to be applied liberally to all exhaust fasteners and allowing a significant period of time for the chemical to lubricate the threads before attempting to disassemble.
1. Carefully disconnect and remove the oxygen sensors located just behind each front flange as the left side shown in figure 1. Place them to the side for use during the installation of your new exhaust system.
2. Unbolt and remove the center support bar shown in figure 2. Place the hardware to the side for use during the installation of your new exhaust system.

Before you begin
-Read instructions completely before starting each step.
-Pay attention to how parts are removed from the vehicle and make sure to keep track of all parts, in many cases they may be used in the installation.
Step 1. Radiator shroud removal
-Remove the plastic radiator shroud by removing the two plastic rivets with a flat blade screw driver or pry tool. To do this you must first unlock the rivet by prying up on the head of the rivet, located at the center (the head will raise about a half an inch).
-Once the rivet has been unlocked it can then be removed.
-There are two christmas tree style fasteners at each edge of the plastic shroud. These are removed by inserting your flat blade screw driver/pry tool near the fastener and gently prying upward.

The GM20SR is a plug and play interface that allows replacement of a General Motors Class II factory stereo in Cadillac CTS and SRX vehicles. It will maintain operation of the OnStarо and factory amplified systems. The GM20SR has on board switching to allow audio from the OnStarо system to play through the two front factory speakers when OnStarо is active. It also retains warning chimes for Onstarо operation. For additional vehicle integration, use Scosche’s line of SWC-1 steering wheel controls (SWC) interfaces to retain SWC’s with the aftermarket radio. Also retains Vehicle Parking Assist chimes.
