HVAC System will not Heat Up or Cool Down Sufficiently (Adjust Temperature Control Cable)
The temperature control door may not be closing completely because the temperature control cable assembly may require replacement or adjustment.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Do not apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the oil fill cap and then lift up on the front of the engine beauty cover to remove it from the vehicle. Replace the oil cap for now to make sure nothing falls into the crankcase during the install.
2. Disconnect the hard plastic crankcase breather tube from the rubber elbow. Leave the rubber elbow connected to the factory air intake tube. Next loosen the hose clamp that secures the air intake tube to the throttle body.

Assembly is quite easy and straightforward. You will attach the cover anchor brackets to already available attaching points with the provided nuts and washers. And with the DZUS fasteners already installed in the covers a quick 1/4-turn with a Phillips #1 driver makes the assembly that easy.

1. Start by raising the car and supporting it with jack stands, remove all un-used brackets from the vehicle (Front leaf spring bracket, rear leaf spring hanger saddle, leaf springs & rear end).
