The Edelbrock E-Force Competition Air Intake System is intended only for use on 2010-2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS’ that have been equipped with the Edelbrock E-Force Competition Supercharger System. This intake is not compatible with naturally aspirated cars, nor with those using a different supercharger. While this system can also be used with the #1597/1598 street legal packages, installation may violate emission regulations in some areas.

Cylinder Heads
Mark IV cylinder heads, made by Chevrolet, will not interchange to a stock, production Gen.V Chevy block. There will be a water leak into the lifter valley because of a mismatch of water jacket core holes. Likewise, stock production Gen.V cylinder heads, made by Chevrolet, will not interchange onto Mark IV block cases for the same reason. There are exceptions. You can put Mark IV cylinder heads on a Gen.V “Bowtie” block because the Gen.V “Bowtie” cases have smaller (more…)
The Optra is a front-wheel-drive compact car from GM DAT (General Motors Daewoo Auto and Technology). It is available in sedan, hatchback and, new for the fall, station wagon models. Similar in size to the Civic, Focus, Elantra and Corolla, its main rivals, it is powered by a 2.0-litre Four. We test drove the hatchback version.

1. Disconnect the rear hard lines on the rear axle from the wheel cylinders.
2. Disconnect the rear brake hose from the hard lines on the axle.

REMOVING THE ORIGINAL DISTRIBUTOR 1. If the vehicle has a manual transmission, place the gearshift in neutral and chock the wheels. This prevents the crankshaft from being accidentally turned and the distributor mounting reference lost, if someone pushes or leans against the vehicle. Automatic transmissions should be placed in “Park”.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
3. Remove or relocate the engine parts, such as air cleaners, that block access to the distributor.
