First remove the old cam bearings. Start by inserting the Black Drive Cap with the CD- ring into in the end of the Arbor you will tap with a hammer – in this case the end nearest to the permanently affixed Drive Mount. Slide the Black Drive Spool onto the Arbor, followed by the Red Spool Stabilizer, as shown in Fig. 1. Then proceed with removal of #1 bearing, tapping with a 31b miminum brass or lead hammer (steel hammers may damage the ends of the Arbor). Relieve the fuel system pressure before servicing fuel system components in order to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury. After relieving the system pressure, a small amount of fuel may be released when servicing the fuel lines or connections. In order to reduce the risk of personal injury, cover the regulator and fuel line fittings with a shop towel before disconnecting. This will catch any fuel that may leak out. Place the towel in an approved container when the job is complete, and of course, no smoking. Magna Charger strongly recommends the following:

The mounting procedure outlined below covers CHEVROLET (1988 – 2000), and 1 ton trucks. You will need to refer to the illustrations and familiarize yourself with each of the undercarriage components and their relative position to each other. Then proceed as follows:
1. Position the PUSH BEAM SUPPORT PLATES (Ref. 62A and 62B, Fig. 1) to the front frame rails of the truck. If the truck is equipped with tow hooks, remove the tow hook bolts, and tow hook before installing the PUSH BEAM SUPORT PALTES. Using M14 x 2.00 Hex Head Bolts and M14 Lock Washers provided, bolt the PUSH BEAM SUPPORT PLATES through the outside of the frame. Next use ―” – 13 x 1- ―” Hex Head Bolts, ―” Flat Washers, and ―” – 13 Hex Head Self Locking Nuts to bolt the PUSH BEAM SUPPORT PLATES through the bottom of the frame. Tow hooks may be relocated under the PUSH BEAM SUPPORT PLATES and reattached. Fasteners should only be finger tight.

Place a drop of oil on the black oxide bolt before assembling as shown below. Place the Blind Fastener in the hole and use a 1/1” or 7/16” wrench to tighten black hex bolt until the blind fastener is fully seated. When setting black hex bolt, it will start out hard. As the Blind Fastener ”bulbs” out it will get easier, until it bottoms out or sets. Make sure the Blind Fastener and Installation Tool do not turn during installation.

Yenko™ Chevrolet located in the town of Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, was one of the largest custom muscle car shops of the late 60’s. The lightning quick Yenko™ cars were so popular that, in 1969, Yenko™ used Chevrolet Central Office Production Order (COPO) system to have 427 cubic-inch engines installed into the Chevy Nova™ right on the factory assembly lines. The high performance and very limited production of all Yenko-customized cars makes them very valuable in todays collector car market.
