INSTALLATION OF HOTCHKIS FRONT STABILIZER BAR
1) Please look at the original front antiroll bar and note the orientation of the front bar. You will want to install the new Hotchkis bar in the same manner.
2) Securely block the rear wheels of the vehicle. Use a jack to raise the vehicle and support with jack stands.
3) Remove the factory plastic undertrays from the car with a 10mm socket on the bolts, and a small screwdriver to pry open the plastic trim plugs.
4) Disconnect the endlink from the stabilizer bar using a 14mm wrench.
5) Using a 14mm socket and extension, remove the factory frame brackets. Then remove the stock bar from the vehicle.

The installation of the StopTech 350Z Rear Brake Upgrade requires extensive trimming of the splash guard/dust shield and filing or grinding of one of the caliper mounting lugs. The use of a powered cutoff wheel is likely necessary to trim the splash guard.
Only a qualified and experienced technician should perform this part of the installation as the use of power tools can cause serious injury if proper safety precautions are not taken. If you are unsure in your ability to make these modifications, please seek the help of a qualified technician.
Hand Brake Limitation
The emergency/parking brake can not be used as an active braking device such as hand brake turns or drifting competition. The aluminum hat portion that acts as the brake drum will hold the car in any parking situation and work for a single emergency stop, but will not stand up to use as a supplement to regular braking.
STEP 1 – Raise Vehicle and remove wheels. Apply Parking brake and block front wheels. Break loose the lug nuts on both rear wheels before jacking up the car. Refer to the Owners Manual for correct location for jacking up the vehicle. Jack up the vehicle and secure on a pair of jack stands. Never leave any vehicle supported with only a jack – always use jack-stands. After securing the vehicle at a convenient height, remove the rear wheels.
Note: If you remove the bottom lug nut last while holding the bottom of the tire, it will lessen the chances of the wheel tilting on it’s own and make removal easier. Right rear corner with wheel removed.
STEP 2 – Disconnect Stock Brake Line
WARNING – Brake fluid will damage most painted surfaces. Immediately clean spilled brake fluid from any painted surfaces.
NOTE – Be sure the cap is securely installed on the master cylinder. If the cap is loose or removed, it is likely more fluid will drip.
Place a drip tray or several rags directly below the inboard brake line connection. If the area around the brake line connection to the chassis and strut is dirty, clean with brake cleaner or appropriate cleaning agent.

This template is supplied with the SPC kit. The template will fit between the two tabs, and stay in place by itself.

Vortech supercharger systems are performance improving devices. In most cases, increases in torque of 30-40% and horsepower between 45-55% can be expected with the boost levels specified by Vortech Engineering. This product is intended for use on healthy, well maintained engines. Installation on a worn-out or damaged engine is not recommended and may result in failure of the engine as well as the supercharger. Vortech Engineering is not responsible for engine damage. Installation on new vehicles will not harm or adversely affect the break-in period so long as factory break-in procedures are followed.

This bulletin outlines procedures and methods to isolate the cause(s) of mixture related driveability incidents. The bulletin also covers incidents where the check engine light is illuminated and code 45 is stored, but there are no driveability symptoms.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
NOTE: • ANY SENSOR INPUT THAT CAN CAUSE A “RICH” FUEL SIGNAL CAN CAUSE AN INJECTOR LEAK CODE. • ANY CAUSE FOR EXCESSIVE FUEL PRESSURE CAN CAUSE AN INJECTOR LEAK CODE. The best way to resolve a Code 45 or driveability incident is to carefully go through ALL the following steps: 1. CONSULT ALPHA TEST 2. MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR TEST 3. FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR TEST 4. INJECTOR LEAK DOWN TEST 5. ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR TEST 6. OXYGEN (O2) SENSOR TEST 7. QUALITY CONTROL CHECK
