These models are powered by a 10.5 H.P. Briggs & Stratton Engine or 11 HP Honda Engine. In order to provide a smooth transmission of power, the units are equipped with a heavy duty electrical clutch. A chain transmits the power from the clutch to a jack shaft by means of a coupling, is connected to the speed reducer. The speed reducer output shaft is what actually drives the conveyor. A single V-belt connects the jack shaft with the spinner shaft.

Air Cleaner Element, Fuel Filter

The fuel filter should be replaced every 4 years or 60,000 miles (96,000 km), whichever comes first.
Have a qualified mechanic change the fuel filter. Since the fuel system is under pressure, fuel can spray out and create a hazard if all fuel line connections are not handled correctly.
The filter may require replacement sooner if you happen to buy one or more tankfuls of contaminated fuel. Have the filter tested or replaced if you suspect it has been clogged by contaminants.

How Superchargers Work

Since the invention of the internal combustion engine, automotive engineers, speed junkies and racecar designers have been searching for ways to boost its power. One way to add power is to build a bigger engine. But bigger engines, which weigh more and cost more to build and maintain, are not always better. Another way to get more power from a normal-sized engine is to make it more efficient. You can very well do this by forcing more air into the combustion chamber. More air lets you add more fuel, and more fuel equals a bigger explosion and greater horsepower. Adding a supercharger is a great way to achieve the forced induction of air.

Transmission Service with the 1524 Transmission Flusher
The number one reason for transmission failure is fluid breakdown. Over time, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) becomes contaminated and loses its viscosity and the ability to lubricate the moving parts within the transmission. Conventional service methods of dropping the pan and changing the filter result in only about 30-40% of the total ATF in the transmission being drained out. That leaves 60-70% of the old ATF to be mixed with the new ATF introduced during service. Therefore, adequate lubrication is not achieved.

Rear Disc Brake Conversion

The rear disc brake system consists of a solid rear disc brake rotor (5) and a single-piston rear disc brake caliper. The rear brake pads and linings are held in position between the rear disc brake caliper and the rear disc brake rotor by two guides, two shims, and an M-spring. It is not necessary to remove the rear disc brake caliper completely to replace the rear brake pads and linings; the rear brake pads and linings can be removed simply by pivoting the rear disc brake caliper on its rear disc support bracket.

These solenoids will work for KM-175, 176, and 177 Series transmissions. The 3 ohm solenoid will work on all year models in the EPC position. It is also used in the DCC position on Mitsubishi vehicles prior to ‘93, and on later Hyundai and Chrysler vehicles. IF A 3 OHM RESISTANCE SOLENOID IS USED ON A SYSTEM REQUIRING A 13 OHM SOLENOID, THE COMPUTER WILL BE DAMAGED.
There are two methods to determine which ohms of resistance DCC (lock-up) solenoid is needed.
