Instructions
1. Remove old fitting
2. Retap existing hole with tap provided until tap bottoms out. (See Figure 1.)
3. Clean hole of any remaining chips
4. Install Sonnax adapter and tighten lightly. Leading edge of Sonnax cooler line adapter will seal where tap bottomed. (See Figure 2.)
5. Remove and inspect end of adapter. Look for contact witness mark on adapter’s leading edge. This edge contact is required to attain the seal and prevent leakage at crack.
6. Coat the threads with Loctite® Threadlocker (or equivalent) and reinstall and tighten Sonnax adapter securely.
7. Apply sealant to OEM fitting and thread into Sonnax cooler line adapter as shown in Figure 3.
