This Fast Response Circuit is designed specifically for use with DODGE D-Series Motor Brakes. It will allow the brake to provide a faster drop out time (time to braking). Part number 031386 is for use with 115/230 VAC brake coils. Part number 031389 is for use with 230/460 VAC brake coils.

Mounting
The Fast Response Circuit may be mounted inside the motor conduit box. Dimensions are shown in Figure 1. A 0.171 diameter hole for a #8 screw is provided in the center of the package to facilitate mounting.

Wiring
CAUTION
DO NOT USE CONNECTION DIAGRAM FOUND ON THE BRAKE LABEL! Hook up per Figure 2 ONLY. Failure to follow FIGURE 2 could result in damage to the Fast Response Circuit.
Connections shown are for dual voltage, Wye connected motors. For Delta connected motors, thermally protected motors or single voltage motors, contact DODGE Engineering.
