This short explanation covers the installation slot-in MAF sensor to inlet tube for Ford Mustang vehicle, following the steps below:
1. Remove the factory harness from the OEM MAF Sensor
2. Remove the two screws and gently slide the MAF out of its housing
3. Your now ready to install your new GMS MAF sensor to your intake tube.
4. Once the new meter is in place re-install your original screws Notes when installing part number 80064619: This meter, although it looks stock, has been modified by Hitachi and Granatelli. It has been dyno tested to produce 8 to 10hp on an otherwise stock Mustang with the charcoal filter removed.
5. Make sure everything is secure. You can now install your intake tube onto the vehicle. Last step is to connect factory harness onto the MAF sensor and you are finished.
