Read instructions before assembling. Fasteners should be finger tight until instructed to tighten according to the torque chart. Use standard methods and practices when attaching snowplow including proper personal protective safety equipment.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For easier assembly and installation, vehicle and all snowplow components should be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as concrete.
1. Remove license plate bracket and retain for vehicle owner. Remove bumper from bumper brackets. Retain fasteners.
2. Remove bumper brackets from frame. Retain fasteners. Diesel applications: On these applications, you must first remove the top two intercooler fasteners. Then push intercooler up and out to provide clearance to remove bumper bracket bolt assembly. Vehicles equipped with tow hooks will need tow hooks and tow hook brackets removed. These cannot be reinstalled with plow mount. Retain tow hooks, brackets and fasteners for reinstallation if snowplow is removed.
3. Remove compatibility brackets from frame if equipped (see picture). Save the brackets for the vehicle owner. Retain the fasteners for step 4.
4. Install pushplate by holding the front portion of pushplate in place and securing with the previously removed bumper bracket bolt assembly. On vehicles with compatibility brackets: Reuse the previously removed fastener and nut by inserting into the rear of the mount. Hand tighten fastener. Continue to step 5.
On vehicles without compatibility brackets: Clamp rear portion of pushplate into position on the truck frame, making sure the pushplate is tight against the bottom of the frame.
Using the 11/16″ diameter holes in the mounts as guides, drill a 11/16″ diameter hole through the inner wall of the frame rail. On some models, including Diesels, access to the inner frame rail will be blocked. For these instances, use the hole in the outer tab of the pushplate as a guide to drill through the outer wall of the frame, then proceed through the inner wall. Use the hole in the bottom rear of the pushplate as a guide to drill a 17/32″ hole through the bottom of the frame rail.
