Installation of a Performance Accessories suspension lift kit will change the center of gravity and the handling characteristics of the vehicle. Because of the higher center of gravity and larger tires, the vehicle will handle and react differently both on and off road. You must drive it safely! Extreme care must be taken to prevent vehicle rollover or loss of control, which could result in serious injury or death. Avoid sudden sharp turns or abrupt maneuvers and always make sure all vehicle occupants have their seat belts fastened.
1. Read all warnings and instructions completely and carefully before you begin.
2. Check to make sure the kit is complete (refer to Parts List at end of this document).
3. A pitman arm puller and tie rod puller are required for installation of this suspension lift kit.
4. Only install this kit on the vehicle for which it is intended. If anytime during installation you encounter something different from what is outlined in the instructions, call technical support at (928) 636-7080.
5. Park vehicle on a clean, dry, flat, level surface and block tires so vehicle cannot roll in either direction.
6. Disconnect battery cables.
a. Disconnect negative cable first, then positive cable from battery.
7. Assemble control arm bushings.
a. Place a small amount of kit grease on outer surface of each bushing. Grease is not required on the lip portion of bushing. b. Install sixteen kit bushings in four kit control arms as shown. Place a small amount of kit grease on the inside of each bushing. c. Install eight kit sleeves in kit bushings.
