Instructions and Installation Manual for Automotive

Installation is the easiest if you have a Haynes, Clymer or Chilton manual for your car. Next: 1. Locate your car’s year, make and model. 2. Select: “Repair Info” at the left side of the screen. 3. Select: “Vehicle Repair Guides”, “Chassis Electrical”, “Wiring Diagrams”.
If you have a problem with obtaining a wiring diagram you can identify the wires yourself. Note: Instead of taking a chance by stripping insulation, you can take two sewing needles or poster pins. Turn ignition OFF. Pierce isolation so that the needles are touching the wire inside (more…)

The EcoDriver’s manual

Saving money at the pump while reducing your carbon dioxide emissions go hand-in-hand. And you may already have much of what you’ll need to do both, right now. Even if you haven’t had a chance to buy a new vehicle— which today are cleaner and more fuel efficient than ever before—you can still be an “EcoDriver.” EcoDrivers—no matter what they drive—use simple driving practices and basic maintenance steps to save money and protect the environment at the same time. A typical EcoDriver can increase fuel efficiency by 15 percent or more. Every day, cities and states are among the many doing their part to promote ecofriendly programs and practices. As an EcoDriver you can make a difference too. If everyone nationwide practiced EcoDriving, it would be equivalent to heating and powering nearly 8 cities the size of Los Angeles. Take a look at our EcoDriver’s Guide to learn the safest and most effective practices for improving your fuel economy… you can start right now.

The EFIE is not intended to be a fuel saver by itself. The EFIE is designed to be used in conjunction with fuel saver devices, such as a hydrogen gas electrolyzer, a fuel vapor production unit, or other devices that increase the efficiency of the burn.
EFIE Wideband O2: This EFIE will work with all wideband zirconia type of oxygen sensors (Not AFR). All oxygen sensors that were developed before catalytic converter need to own dedicated EFIE device. Oxygen sensors that were developed after catalytic converter do not need EFIE devices, because they are only used by ECU to monitor converter fuel efficiency.

Dashboard Warning Lights 101

ABS WArning Light Anti-lock Braking works with your braking system to prevent wheels from locking, as well as traction control, brake assist and electronic stability control. When the ignition is turned on, this light should illuminate briefly to let you know the system is running properly. If it illuminates while driving, this indicates that there is an issue. Normal braking is still operational (without ABS).

CHRYSLER Tech Information

Chrysler, one of the most dominant names during the early “Muscle Car” era, developed three basic series of engines which are still very popular in racing and performance today. Recently, the engineers at Chrysler added two versions of a new V-10. Both have become very popular. For our purposes we will refer to the 273-360 Small Block Chrysler engines as the “A” engine, the 383-440 Big Block standard head engines as the “B” engine, and don’t forget the ever popular Hemi. In these pages we have attempted to pass along some common “tips” learned during our many years of engine building, as well as the experiences of many of our customers. We will not attempt to cover all of the little things, only the more unique and aggravating trouble spots. If ever in doubt, there are many excellent reference manuals. (Mopar Performance) is one of the best. It goes into great detail about Chrysler engines.
