1. Carefully unscrew the shift knob by rotating it counter clockwise.
2. Remove the 2 screws on either side of the console.
3. Remove shift boot and plastic cover by gently squeezing the insides of the cup holders and lifting.
4. Remove the plastic cover around the handbrake by carefully lifting up on it.
5. Remove the 2 screws in the base of the console.
6. Remove the 2 screws at the back of the center console and lift it out of the car. Put it in a safe place for re-installation later.

B. Vehicle Preparation 1. Open vehicle hood. 2. Use blankets to protect the front grille area and the front seat area. 3. Set parking brake. 4. Put transmission in Neutral. 5. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery at the terminal.
C. Removal Procedure: OE Air Filter Enclosure 1. Remove air cleaner lid. i. Unfasten the 3 hook clamps. (Fig. C1) ii. Loosen the hose clamp that secures the intake hose to the air cleaner lid. (Fig. C1) 10 mm Socket iii. Unplug the Mass Air Flow Sensor connector. (Fig. C2) iv. Remove wire harness from the air cleaner lid. v. Remove OE air filter lid from engine bay. vi. Remove OE air filter.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Loosen the hose clamp on air cleaner box lid. Twist and remove breather hose from air cleaner box lid. 2. Unhook the two air cleaner lid latches on front of box. 3. Remove the air cleaner box lid by sliding it forward, and then up, and out of the factory intake tube. 4. Remove factory air filter from air cleaner box. 5. Remove, and set aside the oil filler cap. Use caution not to drop anything into engine while cap is off. 6. OVERVIEW: VEHICLE 1 Using a 10mm socket with ratchet, loosen the nut and remove the negative battery cable from the negative post of the battery. 2 Using a 10mm socket with ratchet, remove the grounding bolt from the inner fender. This grounding bolt is located on the drivers’ inner fender behind the battery as shown in Figure B. 3 Using a 10mm socket with ratchet, remove the two bolts holding the windshield washer reservoir. 4 Lift the reservoir out of its place and unplug the green washer pump connector from the washer pump at the bottom of the reservoir. 5 Locate and disconnect the two front wiring harness plugs (E2 and E3). 1. Open driver side door. Lower window.
2. Remove door lock cover.
3. Unsnap and remove the triangular molding that covers the mirror mounting screws.
4. Unsnap and remove the molding that covers the door handle. Remove the screw behind the door handle.
5. Unsnap the control console and unplug the wires. Remove the screw located behind the arm rest.
6. Dislodge the door panel by pulling it up and away from the door slightly. Disconnect light and tweeter connections and remove door panel.
7. Secure mirror with one hand. Proceed cautiously to avoid dropping articles into the door panel. Remove the 3 mirror mounting nuts using a 10mm socket.

STEP 1. Begin by removing the small black trim ring that surrounds the radio. Insert the hook tool behind the upper right corner of the trim ring and pull toward you to loosen the ring. Once the ring is loose, work the remaining three (3) corners of the trim ring loose. Set the trim ring aside. Turn the ignition to the “ON” position and shift the transmission into low gear. Just above the ashtray door, grasp the top section of the bezel that surrounds the transmission shifter and pull toward you to release two (2) clips. Insert the hook tool behind the right rear corner of the bezel just behind the shifter. Pull upward to release one (1) clip. Perform the same action in the left rear corner releasing one (1) more clip. Grasp the rear of the bezel and continue working loose two (2) clips on the left and right sides of the shifter. Work the bezel up and over the shifter knob and disconnect all wiring. Set the bezel aside.

DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY OF DIFF DROP KIT
1. Remove the 2 diff bolts on driver side differential that attach the diff housing to the frame mount. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DB) using new M12 X 1.75 X 50 bolts. This is to space the diff down ―” to improve the angle on the CV boots. See Fig. A
2. Repeat this process on the passenger side of the vehicle. Remove the 2 OEM diff nuts on passenger side differential that attach the housing to the frame. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DA) utilizing the supplied M12 x 1.75 nylon locking nuts. See Fig. B

Before you begin
-Read instructions completely before starting each step.
-Pay attention to how parts are removed from the vehicle and make sure to keep track of all parts, in many cases they may be used in the installation.
Step 1. Radiator shroud removal
-Remove the plastic radiator shroud by removing the two plastic rivets with a flat blade screw driver or pry tool. To do this you must first unlock the rivet by prying up on the head of the rivet, located at the center (the head will raise about a half an inch).
-Once the rivet has been unlocked it can then be removed.
-There are two christmas tree style fasteners at each edge of the plastic shroud. These are removed by inserting your flat blade screw driver/pry tool near the fastener and gently prying upward.
