This big bore kit requires professional installation. It is up to you to determine if you have the skills necessary to install this kit. If you are not confident in your abilities, please contact a professional mechanic. This kit installs exactly like the OEM Honda components with the exceptions noted here. You should refer to the OEM Honda Service Manual for any questions regarding disassembly or reassembly of your motorcycle engine. It is entirely up to the individual doing the installation to determine the fitness of this product and its usability. The installation of AWE Cold Cone Box for Volksgagen Mk5, CC and Audi A3, TT vehicles:
Step 1: On 2006-08 FSI engines, remove the entire engine cover assembly and inlet ducting. Leave the duct that bolts to the radiator support in place. Remove the MAF sensor from the engine cover assembly. On 2008.5-> TSI engines, remove the factory airbox, intake tubing, and MAF sensor housing. Leave the duct that bolts to the radiator support in place. Remove the MAF sensor from the sensor housing.

1. Peel the protective vinyl coating off of the top and bottom brackets and attach them to the fan shroud with the screws provided as shown.
2. Hold the fan assembly so that it is approximately centered over the radiator core. The long 6mm bolts will be used in the slots of the bottom bracket with the threaded end pointing down. The threaded end of the bolts, with rubber caps placed over the ends, will slide into the holes on the bottom of the radiator. Determine which set of slots you will use by looking at which slots line up over the holes. This fan kit is designed to accomodate both the OEM radiator as well as popular aftermarket radiators. These bolts may go in the inside or outside slots on the bottom brackets depending on which radiator you have. Leave these loose for now – you will need to tighten them after you install the fan assembly.

Tools required:-vehicle ramp or jack and axle stands, drill and 8.3 or 8.5mm drill bit, T45, T30,T27and T25 torx drivers, 10mm socket/ratchet, 6mm Allen key, Flat blade screwdriver, safety clothing, footwear and eyewear are also recommended.
Raise vehicle and open bonnet/hood. It is necessary to remove the front panel and grill from the front of the vehicle.

Installation Instructions Procedures:
1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY CABLE.
2. Remove air intake assembly.
3. Remove throttle body intake box and save bolts.
4. Remove (3) bolts from throttle body.
5. Remove bolts from throttle linkage bracket and save.
6. Install power plate using (3) 6mm x 60 bolts and (3) 6mm flat washers. (Ref. “A”)
