1. When you doing the camshaft on Nissan GA16DE installation, it is highly recommended that an oil and filter change be done before installing new cams.
2. Remove the distributor, and valve cover from the engine. Use caution not to drop anything into the engine.

Step 1. Remove the contents from the box and check for any damage. Verify all parts against the parts list.
Step 2. Read and understand instructions completely before beginning installation.
Step 3. To assemble the grille guard, position the center section. The bottom side of the center section is the longer end. Insert wings so that the wing slot lines up with the center section hole. Attach uprights to grille guard through top holes (more…)

Installation of this baseplate requires drilling 17/32” holes in the vehicle’s frame.
1. Read the General Instruction Sheet included with this baseplate.
2. The baseplate bolts to the bottom of the frame behind the bumper using six bolts supplied with the baseplate. Use of Loctite to secure the bolts is highly recommended. The vibrations and stresses of towing can cause bolts to loosen even with lock washers in the assembly.

Installation Stainless Steel Oval on Dodge RAM HD Crew Cab:
1. Read instructions completely and check to make sure that all required parts (listed on service parts list) are on hand before starting the installation.
2. Oval step assemblies and brackets (item #1 & 2) are pre-assembled.
2.1. The front and rear mounting brackets on these assemblies are rotated for shipping purposes. These brackets must be rotated to the vertical position and the ‘/2″ bolts. Torque to 65 lb ft.

If your original radio had a braided strap bolted to the rear of the radio.
TIP: Crimp a ring terminal to the new radios ground wire and insert a bolt through both connectors to connect the ring terminal of the braided ground wire to the ring terminal attached to the new radios ground wire.
If your original radio had a plastic connector containing a single wire plugged into the rear of the radio.
TIP: Crimp a male tab spade to the new radios ground wire. Slide it into the female tab spade connector that had originally snapped into the rear of the factory radio.

Impreza 2.5RS Wheel Bearing How-To

This how-to is based on my experience in replacing the rear wheel bearing on my 2000 2.5RS. I believe it is one of the more difficult setups to work with, because of the e-brake and lateral link bolt. Overall, this should be very similar to whatever car you have. There are different ways of doing this, many people prefer to simply take the whole knuckle to a shop, have everything pressed out and new stuff pressed in. The method covered here does not require you to remove the knuckle from the car.

The front fascia, metal bumper, air baffle and windshield washer reservoir are removed for baseplate installation. Drilling is required. Trimming of metal bumper and fascia is required. Horn brackets will need to be relocated. The BX8869 is available for the vehicle. Attachment Tabs are 24 inches center to center and a height of 19 inches.
1. Remove the four phillips screws from top edge of upper grill between headlights, using the phillips screw driver.
2. Using a long shank phillips screw driver, loosen the screw on lower section of grill from opening on top edge of grill (white arrow), both sides. Pull the middle of top grill edge forward to loosen center screw of lower grill, pull grill forward and set aside.
3. Remove the five push pins from the top edge of fascia.
4. Remove one phillips screw from fascia’s end just forward of front tires, both sides.
