For rear disc pad removal and installation, DO NOT disconnect brake hose from caliper (wire aside). Replace all pads on an axle if wear indicator on any pad contacts rotor or if pad is worn to within .03″ (.8 mm) of pad backing.
Removal (”A”, “B”, “C”, “K” & “U” Series)
1. Remove 2/3 of brake fluid from master cylinder reservoir. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Using “C” clamp, compress caliper piston until it bottoms out in its bore.

Place a drop of oil on the black oxide bolt before assembling as shown below. Place the Blind Fastener in the hole and use a 1/1” or 7/16” wrench to tighten black hex bolt until the blind fastener is fully seated. When setting black hex bolt, it will start out hard. As the Blind Fastener ”bulbs” out it will get easier, until it bottoms out or sets. Make sure the Blind Fastener and Installation Tool do not turn during installation.

Step 1. Driver & Passenger Bottoms/DB&PB: All of the parts of your seat cover are labeled on the inside. Use the “Seat Cover Piece Identification Chart” to identify the pieces. Place the seat cover on with the long hook (sticky) fasteners to the front. Line up the seams of the seat cover to the seams of the seat, they should closely match. Route the hook fasteners under the front of the seat, avoiding any seat mechanisms, and mate them to the carpet on the back edge as shown.

Ratcheting End Plug Removal:
Note: Prior to removing the ratcheting end plug from the bore, measure and note how deeply it is installed. The replacement plug should be installed to this same depth to ensure proper line pressure control. The most accurate method is to insert a slide caliper rod through the hole in the plastic plug until it bottoms against the control valve. Bring the caliper end toward the plug until flush. This gives you the spring height adjustment from the plug to the valve. Record this measurement before removing the plug and duplicate this distance during reassembly to most accurately duplicate the spring compression setting. If your caliper will not pass through the hole, measure from the valve body casting surface to the outer face of the OEM plug and duplicate later.
