Once the Multimedia Interface Novosonic-Intercar Ventura Technology has been installed, please follow these instructions to activate the different external video sources connected to the original touch screen monitor.
In this installation example we have installed a CD Changer, a DVD Player, a Rear View Camera and an Apple iPod.
1.- Press the DISC button to activate the CD Changer which has been previously installed. When pressing the AUDIO button, the screen will display the Audio menu. The touch buttons perform their regular functions, that is, controlling the CD Changer functions.
- Press the CD button to activate the Interface.
- Press the SEEK UP button (▲) to activate VIDEO 1 (the DVD player); the screen will display the picture of the disc loaded in the DVD player.

Proper mounting location

Make sure you maintain the vehicle in a clean pristine condition, and trim components are undamaged and placed back into position. Always protect the painted and interior surfaces, on all vehicles during the installation. Have a clean terry cloth and cleaning alcohol with you to clean off any fingerprints on the interior of the vehicles. Note: The 2008 TT is currently the only vehicle that can be ordered with CD Changer prep or CD Changer. The 2008 R8 must have a CD Changer to accommodate this installation.

These installation instructions are mainly intended for use in the MINI dealership network and by authorised BMW Service Centres. The target group of these installation instructions are technical personnel trained on MINI vehicles with corresponding technical know-how.
All work is to be carried out with the aid of currently valid MINI repair instructions, schematic circuit diagrams, maintenance manuals and working instructions in rational order with the specified tools (special tools) while paying particular attention to valid safety regulations.
