Removal: 1. Raise vehicle on a hoist, allowing the front suspension lower arms (3078) to hang free.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove disc brake caliper (2B120), then wire it out of the way to obtain working room.
4. Disconnect tie rod end (3A130) assembly from the front wheel spindle (3105) using Tie Rod End Remover TOOL-3290-D or equivalent.

FRONT INSTALLATION Read complete instructions before beginning installation, the following special tools are recommended: Coil spring compressor, floor jack, ball joint separator, jack stands, and metric hand tools. Jack the vehicle in the center of the front cross member. Support the vehicle by placing jack stands on the frame cross member so that the front tire/wheels are off the ground. Remove the front tires/wheels. Disconnect the sway bar end links and remove the upper ball joint cotter pin and nut. Separate the upper ball joint from the spindle. FRONT INSTALLTION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Block the rear wheels of the vehicle. Raise the front of the vehicle and support the vehicle with jack stands under the frame rails. Remove the front wheels and tires and set aside. Position a hydraulic jack under the front axle and raise the jack until the front suspension begins to compress.
2. On both sides of the vehicle, scribe alignment marks on the adjustment cam and axle bracket at the lower link to axle attachment point for later reference. See Photo 1
