INSTALLATION
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the tailgate and the body paint finish.
1. Open the tailgate. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver into the specified position of the right tailgate trim, and remove the pin as shown.
2. Remove the clip and remove the right tailgate trim.
3. Remove the left tailgate trim in the same manner.
4. Align the template with the left edge of the tailgate, and the front edge of the tailgate. Hold the template in place using masking tape. Mark the tailgate through the template using a felt-tip pen. Remove the template.

Caution!!! Never work on a hot exhaust system. Serious injury in the form of burns can result If the vehicle has been in use and the exhaust system is hot, allow vehicle to cool for at least 1 hour. Always wear eye protection when working under any vehicle. Note: It is our recommendation that you use a hoist or hydraulic lift to facilitate the installation of your new Borla Performance Cat-Back ™ Exhaust System. Taking all under car safety precautions, lift the vehicle using a hoist or hydraulic lift. Once this has been done, you may begin the removal of your old exhaust system from your vehicle.
