READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS BRACKETRON PHONE MOUNT. All instructions are written from the drivers seat position looking forward at the vehicle dash. We advise caution whenever your removing or handling plastic parts of a vehicles dash. WARNING: Unnecessary force or pressure can cause pieces to crack or break.
TOOLS NEEDED: Dash Trim Tool, (Part #SIT-104), 10mm socket and driver, #2 Phillips screwdriver.
PARTS INCLUDED: One phone mount , Three (3) #8×3/4” self tapping screws

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section. 2. Remove or disconnect the following: • Negative battery cable • Transfer case, if equipped • Transmission 1 • Pressure plate. Loosen the bolts evenly in /2 turn steps. • Clutch disc To install: 1. Install or connect the following: • Clutch disc and pressure plate. Tighten the pressure plate bolts evenly in /2 turns to 23 ft. lbs. (31 Nm) for 2.4L and 2.5L engines; 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm) for 4.0L engines. • Transmission • Transfer case, if equipped • Negative battery cable

Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or have an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.
2. Release the fuel system pressure. For additional information, refer to Section 310-00.
3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01.
4. Recover the A/C system. For additional information, refer to Section 412-00.

Removal 1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING . 2. Drain the engine oil. 3. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD. 4. Remove the evaporator core housing. For additional information refer to CLIMATE CONTROL . 5. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the studs. 6. Remove the injection control pressure (ICP) sensor. 7. If equipped, remove the nut and position the transmission fluid and indicator aside. 8. Remove the bolts, stud bolts and the valve cover. Clean and inspect the valve cover gasket. REMOVAL:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable(s).
2. Remove the torque converter access cover and inspection plate.
3. Remove the transmission pan, drain the fluid and re-install the pan.
4. Remove the fill tube bracket bolt and pull the tube out of the transmission. Retain the fill tube seal. On 4WD models, it will also be necessary to remove the bolt attached to the transfer case vent tube to the converter housing.
5. Rotate the crankshaft with a pry bar from under the vehicle until the converter bolts are accessible.
6. Mark the drive shaft and pinion yokes for assembly alignment. Disconnect and remove the drive shaft. On 4WD models, remove both drive shafts.
