This installation sheet is for brackets with tube & rail system. Drop steps purchased separately.
BRACKET INSTALLATION
1) Remove contents from box and check for damaged parts. Verify all parts are present, making sure to read and understand instructions before install.
2) Locate (8) factory holes on inside body panel. Remove black tape covering holes 3, 5, 6, & 7 on Quad Cabs and holes 2, 3 & 4 on Reg Cabs. Install frame lock bolts into factory locations.

The VS130 Setting and Locking Tool Kit includes all the tools required to maintain the crankshaft gear and camshaft sprockets at TDC for service work requiring timing belt removal, renewal and installation on the Ecotec V6 multi-valve engine. The kit includes the essential timing gauge for
checking camshaft sprocket timing mark alignment during installation of the timing belt.

Borla Performance Cat-Back ™ Exhaust System Installation
1. Place a clamp over the expanded end of the front muffler assembly and set it into position as shown in figure 4 making sure to install the hangers into the rubber isolators. Do Not tighten the clamp.
2. Place a clamp over the expanded end of the rear muffler assembly and set it into position as shown in figure 5. Do Not tighten the clamps.
3. Check your exhaust system for proper clearance under the vehicle and also for tip alignment.

Remove the front bumper cover
A. Begin by removing the dust covers that are located underneath the vehicle. Use the 10mm socket to remove the OEM bolts and then the 7mm Nut driver to removed all the OEM screws along the sub-front portion of the bumper.
B. Locate and remove all other fasteners that attach the OEM bumper cover to the vehicle. Once you’ve removed the fasteners, slowly remove the bumper cover. Note that some vehicles may have the foam bumper protector inside, where some may have the plastic protector. The Pro-gard Push Bumper was designed for the plastic protector.

Preparing the Crankshaft and Convertor for Installation
• Always check the crankshaft pilot for burrs and out-of-round.
• Remove any rust with emery paper and lightly grease pocket receiving torque convertor pilot hub.
• Remove paint from the torque convertor’s crank pilot hub with emery paper.
• Before installation, pre-fit the torque convertor to the flex plate and into the back of the crankshaft. It should be a snug, even fit (not loose or binding).
• Slowly pour two quarts of automatic transmission fluid into the convertor.
• Check the flex plate for cracks or worn teeth.
• Replace the transmission front seal.
• Install the torque convertor on the front of the transmission.
• When installing the torque convertor into the transmission, you will feel it seat 3 times for the input shaft, shaft to stator, and oil pump notches.

These instructions outline how to install the Bully Dog Fluid Damper. Please note that this install is only for the experienced mechanic. While removing and installing it will be important to have the OEM removal and assembly instructions for a damper handy. This damper installs the same as an OEM damper with the addition of some vehicle specific details noted in this instruction set. Damper install times can range from 2-6 hours depending on mechanical experience and vehicle application.

Flat Blade Screwdriver
7mm , ž”, 7/16” Sockets
3/32 Allen Wrench
T20 Torx Bit
1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.
A.) Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor wiring harness by pushing down on the tab, and sliding the connector back.
B.) Using the provided T-20 torx bit, remove the two MAF sensor mounting bolts and the sensor from the tube (save for reuse).
2. Remove the factory filter minder and rubber grommet (save for reuse).
3. Using a 7mm socket, loosen the hose clamp where the factory intake tube connects to the turbo housing.

You must make a couple of measurements to correctly place the crossmember and spring mounts before welding. Minor adjustments may be needed for some variations in your frame.
