STEP 1. Begin by opening the arm rest cover. Insert your hook tool under the left side of the small trim piece next to the cup holder. Pull gently to release the left retainer clip. Repeat on the right side to remove the trim piece. Remove the two (2) Phillips screws that are behind the small trim piece. Next, set the emergency brake and put the gear shift lever into gear. Remove the trim bezel around the gear shift by inserting your hook tool under its edge and gently pulling upwards. Work your hook tool around the bezel to release all six (6) clips. STEP 1. Begin by removing the small black trim ring that surrounds the radio. Insert the hook tool behind the upper right corner of the trim ring and pull toward you to loosen the ring. Once the ring is loose, work the remaining three (3) corners of the trim ring loose. Set the trim ring aside. Turn the ignition to the “ON” position and shift the transmission into low gear. Just above the ashtray door, grasp the top section of the bezel that surrounds the transmission shifter and pull toward you to release two (2) clips. Insert the hook tool behind the right rear corner of the bezel just behind the shifter. Pull upward to release one (1) clip. Perform the same action in the left rear corner releasing one (1) more clip. Grasp the rear of the bezel and continue working loose two (2) clips on the left and right sides of the shifter. Work the bezel up and over the shifter knob and disconnect all wiring. Set the bezel aside.

All instructions assume a drivers seat vantage point. Caution is advised when removing and reassembling wood or plastic parts of a dash. Applying unnecessary force or pressure may cause a piece to crack or break.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, 5/64” drill bit, drill, marking pen.
