Before beginning repairs on the electrical system: Obtain the anti-theft radio security code. Switch the ignition off. Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap. On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar , switch-off the emergency (back-up) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module prior to disconnecting vehicle battery Repair Manual, Communication, Repair Group 01 .

All instructions assume a drivers seat vantage point. Caution is advised when removing and reassembling wood or plastic parts of a dash. Applying unnecessary force or pressure may cause a piece to crack or break.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, 5/64” drill bit, drill, marking pen.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions, two (2) #10×5/8” screws.

RaDIo FuncTIonS:
• How to get to the XM band
– Select XM1 or XM2 with the BAND button
• Tuning in XM channels
– Scroll through XM channels with the TUNE knob
– When you change channels, the radio will display the Channel Number/Name, then revert to the default display
– Press SEEK once to select the next channel, or press and hold for 2 seconds to scan through all channels; SCAN will be displayed. Press and hold for 4 seconds to scan through all preset channels; SCAN and the preset number will be displayed
