Installation: 2002 Taurus
This siren will be mounted onto the vehicle horn’s mounting plate near the drivers side front tire. The vehicle horn’s mounting holes will be used to mount the SA314 siren speaker.
WARNING! Loud siren noise can cause hearing loss. Minimize exposure. Close windows when using.
1. Since the siren will be mounted upside down, its drain hole is now on top. This requires another drain hole to be drilled into the siren before mounting (See “Drilling the drain hole”).
2. Mount siren onto the bracket using the supplied mounting hardware. Install a spacer nut onto each of the bracket’s Pem Studs (Fig. 2).
3. Remove the large (full vehicle width) plastic splash guard mounted to the front, underside of the vehicle (Fig. 1). This allows access to the vehicle horn.

Remove Factory Radio
STEP 1: Locate and remove two (2) phillips screws that secure the top of the plastic panel that covers the radio and air conditioner controls. They should be located next to the air conditioner vent levers directly above the (2) air conditioner vents. Pull the plastic panel gently from the top to remove it from the dash.
STEP 2: The radio will be held in with two (2) 7mm bolt screws; one on each side of the radio. Remove both.
STEP 3: To remove the radio, pull firmly. Unplug all connectors (1 blue, 1 white, 1 black) from the rear of the radio. Unplug the antenna cable from the rear of the radio. The radio is now free to be removed from the dash panel.
STEP 4: Since the opening is so big in the dash, The Install Doctor recommends using the plastic mounting bracket attached to the bottom of the radio just removed.
This bracket can then be attached to the bottom of the plastic radio installation kit and assure that this kit is properly aligned and secured to the dash.

The GMRC-03 is designed to be used in Cadillac’s that do not have Onstar or amplified systems. It will retain the warning chimes that are lost when the factory radio is removed. The GMRC-03 will also provide a 12 volt switched accessory wire for proper radio operation. *Note: The GMRC-03 can be used in Cadillac’s that come with a factory amplifier; however the factory amplifier must be bypassed and the speaker wires on the GMRC-03 must not be used. Running new wires to the speakers is recommended. If the Cadillac also has Onstar, that feature will be lost.

Installation: 2005 Dodge Charger or Magnum
1. Remove the 2 plastic covers that protect the front area under the hood (Fig. 1). They snap into or out of the vehicle.
2. Remove the 2 bolts that hold the hood latch assembly on and set it aside (do not disconnect the cables). Unplug the horn wire and place the wire out of the way (Figs. 1 & 2).
3. Mount speaker to bracket (Fig. 3).
4. Remove all the plastic rivets from the top of the front of the body of the vehicle, then pull the body toward the front of the vehicle (the body is flexible). Slide the 2 U-Nuts onto the support braces (Fig. 4) and place the bracket (with siren attached) on top of the U-Nuts. The front “ears” of the bracket rest on the two U-Nuts which clip onto the support braces (Fig. 4). The rear of the bracket will mount behind the hood latch assembly using the hood latch’s mounting hardware (Fig. 2).
