Just finished my install of Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my Coupe. I did it one tire at a time. Torque spec on tire lugnuts: 80ft/lb. The following is a post copied from Gsedan35 over in FreshAlloy. He installed springs and struts from a 350Z. I only installed Eibach springs on my Coupe. It is edited to be specific to the coupe. “I did this to help anyone wanting to do this themselves. If any moderator would like to edit this in anyway to improve it and place it in the FAQ section, to right ahead. This is how “I” did it. You can do your own thing where it makes sense to do so.

It is recommended that this set be professionally installed if you are unfamiliar with this type of work, and a factory service manual be purchased prior to performing any work on your vehicle for proper disassembly, reassembly and torque specs. These instructions are intended for bushing removal and install
of Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, once you have removed the factory component from your vehicle.
1. Properly support the vehicle on the frame.
2. Remove the lower control arm. (Note: It is easier to remove the one bolt connecting the control arm to the spindle than it is to remove the three bolts that attach the ball joint to the control arm.)

Cold Engine and Drivetrain Procedures Check Alternator Belt Tools Parts T-handle hex – 4mm none 1. Remove the four bolts holding the black plastic alternator belt cover at the front of the engine, 4mm T-handle hex. 2. Remove the cover by sliding it straight down. 3. Check the belt for cracks or shredding. 4. Check the belt tension, quite tight, ~1/4” deflection when you press on the center. Note: Paul Glaves suggests that proper belt tension is when you can twist the belt ~90 degrees, midway between the pulleys. If you can twist it more than 90 degrees, it is too loose. If you cannot twist it 90 degrees, then it is too tight. 5. Leave the cover off for the valve adjustment procedure on the next page.

For the first time, Ford is using a front-wheel drive in a middle range vehicle. For this reason, the well-proven MTX 75 transmission from the Fiesta/Escort has been modified and adapted to the requirements of the Ford Mondeo. At the same time, a 4×4 version is also offered, in which the MTX 75 transmission is extended, as on the Escort 4×4, by a transfer box. The transfer box in the Ford Mondeo is a new development and effectively transfers the higher torque to the front axle. This brochure describes all new features and modifications implemented on the MTX 75 transmission compared to the MTX 75 transmission of the Escort ‘91 as well as on the MTX 75 4×4 drive concept and vehicle compared to the Ford Mondeo with front wheel drive.
