1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the air temp. sensor electrical connection.
3. Loosen the hose clamps at the turbo inlet and the airbox outlet as shown.
4. Remove the intake tube from the vehicle as shown.
5. Loosen and remove the 10mm nut that retains the airbox to the vehicle.
6. Remove the complete airbox assembly from the vehicle as shown.
7. Remove the airbox mounting grommet as shown.
8. Install the large “L” bracket onto the heat shield with the provided hardware. NOTE: Do not tighten completely.

Module Installation
1. The Edge EZ Module can mount on the flat black plastic fuse box cover located on the driver’s side fender. Adhere the module using the supplied velcro, allowing enough harness movement for removal of the cover. Data Link Connection
2. The Data Link connector is located in different locations based on the
year of the truck:
• 98.5-99 the triangle shaped connector is located on the drivers side of the engine in the wiring harness near the power steering pump
• 2000-2001 the three prong flat connector is located on top of the fuel lift pump that is located on the driver’s side of the engine directly below the MAP sensor, note: on some 2001 truck’s the connector is located on the drivers side of the engine in the wiring harness near the power steering pump
3. A plug is installed in the data link connector on the truck to resist corrosion, remove this and install the supplied connector.

Do not install the kits listed below on 2003 model year Dodge trucks built up to June 27th 2005 with automatic transmissions without a transmission controller. Pacbrake has kits for these vehicles that include an automatic transmission controller.
C44031 Pacbrake kit is a PRXB design for 2003 model year and newer Dodge trucks built up to January 4th 2004 with a Cummins 5.9L and manual shift transmission only.

Removal of Stock System:
1. Apply a penetrating lubricant liberally to all exhaust fasteners, hangers and rubber insulators.
2. Remove the exhaust system from the rubber insulators and remove all of the clamps from the catalytic converter back.
3. Separate the slip joint behind the muffler and remove the tail pipe. Next, separate the slip joint located behind the catalytic converter and remove the muffler and extension pipe.

Removal of original system
1.) start under the hood. locate the turbo. remove the v-clamp from the turbo outlet. loosen the bolt enough to unlatch the t-bolt, then pry the clamp away from the flange at three spots using a flathead screwdriver.
2.) from underneath your vehicle, cut the stock system in two places. first, cut the turbo down pipe next to the transmission just after the bend where the pipe becomes level. second, cut the stock exhaust directly behind the muffler. spray the stock rubber hangers with lubricant (wd-40 or equivalent). using a pry bar, remove the stock hangers from the rubber grommets. remove the stock exhaust system from the vehicle.

Dual Fueler CP3 Pump Kit Installation Guide 03-07 5.9 Dodge Cummins
Engine noisy – Too Much Fuel Pressure or fuel delivery code
1) Cause: Check fuse is good and in controller’s fuse holder securely, and all power connections are secure, including connectors for both pumps are fully plugged in.
2) Lift pump pressure supplying both CP3 pumps pressure too high. Supply pressure from lift pump should not exceed 12-15 psi.
