Step 1. Driver & Passenger Bottoms/DB&PB: All of the parts of your seat cover are labeled on the inside. Use the “Seat Cover Piece Identification Chart” to identify the pieces. Place the seat cover on with the long hook (sticky) fasteners to the front. Line up the seams of the seat cover to the seams of the seat, they should closely match. Route the hook fasteners under the front of the seat, avoiding any seat mechanisms, and mate them to the carpet on the back edge as shown.

Removing the OEM seat
A. Begin by lifting the rear seat bottom out from the seat hooks (See fig. 1). Remove the seat belts by removing the OEM nuts from the vehicle seat belt mounting studs using a 18mm socket/wrench (See fig. 1A). Do not remove the seat belts anchored to the sides of the vehicle (shoulder straps).
B. Remove the backrest OEM seat by pressing on the top of the tabs located on either side of the seat behind the headrests. A screwdriver can be used to accomplish this unlocking of the tabs. (See fig. 2 & 3)
C. At this point the vehicle should resemble (Fig. 4). The seats have been removed and only the OEM child restraints are exposed. Note that some of the child restraint bars have been bent toward the floor. This is necessary for the Pro-gard seat to fit properly in position. Simply press firmly onto these bars until they resemble the photo #4.
D. Make sure that the seat brackets (3P214) are installed as shown in the photo to the right. This will help align the Center Divider.

Disconnect the negative battery cable before removal of OEM exhaust. This will allow the computer to reset and recognize the new exhaust. Lay out the exhaust on the floor so it looks like the drawing and compare parts with manual.
1. To remove the stock exhaust remove it from in front of the stock muffler. DO NOT REMOVE STOCK HEADPIPE. Disengage the welded hangers using WD-40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage or remove the rubber grommets as you will re-use them to mount your new system.
2. Install head pipe #A onto your existing stock front pipe and attach with clamp #J. Use a jack stand to support the converter. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
