Do you have a mobile antenna for that new car but don’t want to drill any holes? Here’s a great solution that adds the convenience of antenna matching built right into the mount. For years I’ve tinkered with electronic projects at home. Two things have started to impact the fun: a harder time focusing up close (since I turned 50) and the fact that parts are getting smaller. One way around this is to concentrate on physically larger projects—like antennas and related items. I needed a simple antenna mount that could easily attach to my new Volkswagen Beetle without drilling holes. I wanted this antenna mount to support most mobile HF antennas, especially a Hamstick or Carolina Bug Catcher, since these are my current antennas. Additionally, I wanted the mount to include internal capacitive matching which is normally required for short antennas.

For easier assembly and installation, vehicle and all snowplow components should be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as concrete.
1. Remove bumper from bumper brackets. Retain fasteners.
2. Remove bumper brackets from frame. Diesel and V10 applications: On these applications you must first remove the top two intercooler fasteners. Then push intercooler up and out to provide clearance to remove bumper bracket bolt assembly.
Retain fasteners.

Read instructions before assembling. Fasteners should be finger tight until instructed to tighten according to the torque chart. Use standard methods and practices when attaching snowplow including proper personal protective safety equipment.

Remove the turbocharger system from its carton and inspect for any obvious physical damage. All kit components are thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged prior to shipment from the factory. If any shipping damage is evident, contact your supplier and request that they process a claim with the shipper involved. Be sure to review the parts list on page 3 & 4 to verify that you have all necessary system components to proceed. If any components in the parts list are missing, contact Turbonetics’ customer service staff.

This mount will provide a great reduction in transmission movement making shifting much more secure. 1. Unplug all lights and harnesses connected to factory bumper and remove from truck frame.
2. Remove factory tow frame to install new Top Gun rear bumper. In order to remove tow frame, the bed of the truck has to be loosened on lifted 6 inches off the truck frame. Remove 4 bolts towards the rear of the bed, end loosen but do not remove the 2 bolts towards the front of the bed. Lift bed and remove towing frame.

Begin by carefully inserting all four (4) of the Audi radio removal tools into the slots on the face of the radio until you hear and feel a slight click. This locks the tool into place. Carefully pull the radio out of its cavity letting the radio rest on the center console. Hint: Place a clean towel under the radio to when resting on the console. This will prevent scratching the center console
