1. Start by raising the car and supporting it with jack stands, remove all un-used brackets from the vehicle (Front leaf spring bracket, rear leaf spring hanger saddle, leaf springs & rear end). Unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way, but when it comes to your Honda or Acura, you might be so lucky. Through the interpretation of the malfunction indicator lamp (otherwise known as check engine light) and following the troubleshooting process detailed in the Honda/Acura service manuals, the solutions to many engine problems can be identified faster than ever before. Before ECU trouble codes can be read however, you will have to jump the computer on some vehicles first. On all ‘92 and up models (and ‘90–‘91 Accords), the connector that must be jumped must be found underneath the dash. The connector is located near the ECU on Civics and Integras and behind the center console on Preludes and Accords. Its brown and black wires can identify it and it looks like it isn’t plugged in properly.

Starting in 2000 an accessory Auto Dimming Mirror was available. The mirror could come equipped with an electronic compass or an ambient temperature sensor or Homelink (Homelink allows you to program your garage remote to one of three buttons on the mirror assembly). The Optima is Kia’s first run at the mid-size class, and while it might not be on the same level as the Honda Accord or
Toyota Camry, it has most of the right stuff to compete. For 2005, this Hyundai Sonata clone receives only minor updates,
including clear turn signals and updated leather seats. The standard engine is a 2.4-liter, DOHC four-cylinder unit making

Pillar Installation Instructions:
1)  Remove Stock Pillar by  removing the two  screws  located under the caps of pillar  handle.
2)  Install Gauges in new pillar.
3)  Tape  or secure gauge wiring to back of  pillar.
4)  Install new pillar in place of old pillar.
5)  Use  provided screw to hold pillar in place:
  •  Make sure screw is aligned with factory hole to avoid cross threading
  •  Don’t over tighten screw
