The following tips will be helpful if you are qualified to do it yourself. If not, we recommend that your Hardtop be installed and finished by a professional body shop.

A point to remember, automobiles are mass-produced and built with certain tolerance. Sometimes these tolerances are quite large. No two are alike. A body man is a skilled tradesman; a skill that is not learned overnight. A “well fitting” automobile is a series of adjustments and compromises. DO NOT paint until after initial installation. Turn the front wheels all the way to the left or right for mud guard installation. However, it may be necessary to remove the wheels depending on the tools being used for installation.
Clean and degrease the mud guard location area on the fender before installation.
1. Remove existing fasteners from locations A, B, and E (Figure 1).
2. Install a u-clip at location E.
3. Install the mud guard with small #8 screws and washers at locations A and B. Check fit and parallel and adjust accordingly before tightening.
4. Install #10 screw and washer at location E.
5. Using the mud guard as a template, drill a 1/8” hole at location D (Figure 1).
6. Install a #10 screw and washer at location D.

Installation Instructions:
- Flip the rear seat bottom up.
- If your truck came equipped with the optional metal trays, remove each tray by removing the two large bolts using a 18mm socket and the two small nuts using a 13mm socket. Once you have removed the metal trays, replace the braces, large bolts and smaller nuts.
-Remove the plastic push pin from the carpet behind the cup-holders, in the middle of the cab.
- Set the DU-HA in the floor of the truck (as shown).
