Ford has marked the 45th anniversary of the Mustang with a major redesign not only of the bodylines but also the interior, particularly of the dashboard. The steering, suspension and V8 engine have also been reviewed. The Mustang comes in coupe and convertible models, in a base version with a V6 engine or a GT powered by a V8.
Interior and trunk
Front seat access is relatively easy for a sport coupe. Its very comfortable seats have good side support, fine for anything short of racing the car on a track. The driving position is very good and the driver’s seat is equipped with lumbar adjustment. Legroom is generous, but headroom is a bit tight for tall people.

The AEM Cold Air System is the result of extensive development on a wide variety of cars. Each system is engineered for the particular application. The AEM Cold Air System differs from all others in several ways. We take the inlet air from outside of the engine compartment where the inlet air is considerably cooler than the hot underhood air. The cooler inlet air temperature translates to more power during the combustion process because cool air is denser than warm air. AEM has conducted extensive inlet air temperature studies and we have seen temperature reductions of up to 50 degrees by pulling air from outside of the engine compartment. The air mass flow to the engine is increased because of the increased airflow and reduced inlet temperature, which translates to more power. The AEM Cold Air Systems are 50 states Street Legal (some models and years still pending) and come with complete instructions for ease of installation.

The mounting procedure outlined below covers the 2003 and Newer ū & 1 Ton Dodge trucks. You will need to refer to the illustrations and familiarize yourself with each of the undercarriage components and their relative position to each other. Then proceed as follows:
1. Remove the mounting hardware connecting the bumper to the driver side of the frame. Align the two vertical holes on Push Beam Support Plate (62B) with the bumper mounting holes on the outside of the frame. Attach Push Beam Support Plate (62B) to the frame using ―”-13 x 4-―” Hex Head Bolt (G) and ―”-13 Lock Nut (B). The rear and bottom mounting holes on Push Beam Support Plate (62B) must be drilled in the truck frame. With Push Beam Support Plate (62B) in place, drill two 9/16” diameter holes in the truck frame. Drill the hole in the side of Push Beam Support Plate (62B) through both walls of the frame. Drill the bottom hole through the bottom frame wall only. Repeat the process on the passenger side.

Catching both the automotive industry and the American motoring public by surprise, Ford released the new Mustang in April, 1964 to unprecedented success. Its smaller, two door profile along with its long hood/short rear deck design made a lasting impression on everyone who saw it. Stunned by the sales numbers the Mustang was racking up, it took until 1967 Read the rest of this entry »
The Moroso Dry Sump Oil Pump is designed to fit either 90° V-6, small or big block Chevrolets, and the only difference is the mounting holes. You can see that there are two sets of slotted holes on the mounting bracket, which attaches the pump to the engine block.

This shock is pressurized to 250 psi nitrogen. This pressure is not an adjustable feature of the shock. Unless there is a leak, the shock should not normally lose pressure. If the shock damping becomes soft or mushy (after an extended period of time or number of miles) the shock may need to be serviced which includes shock oil and a nitrogen charge. In this situation, re-pressurizing the shock alone may not improve the action of the shock. The shock should be returned to Works Performance Products, Inc., or to a qualified shop that has the appropriate tools, training and nitrogen handling equipment.

Some specific model year 2009 – 2010 Altima and Maxima vehicles may have been built with front strut mounting insulators that were not manufactured to specification. The strut mounting insulators on these specific vehicles may crack. To remedy this potential condition Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign to replace the strut mounting insulators with new ones at no charge for parts or labor.
