JET STAGE 1 MODULE:
The Jet Stage 1 Module is optimized for stock vehicles. Minor bolt on modifications such as free flow air filters and cat back exhaust systems will work with the stage 1 tuning. Premium fuel is recommended for best performance gains, but for normal light driving, lowgrade or midgrade fuels may be used.
JET STAGE 2 MODULE:
The Jet Stage 2 Module is optimized for modified vehicles. The stage 2 requires premium fuel and the use of a Jet 180 degree thermostat. We also recommend a cat back exhaust system. The stage 2 will work well with headers, free flow air intake systems and filters.

After the Video Module is installed on the vehicle, it might need to be custom programmed (depends on your vehicle year/model/op ons).  Each kit comes with the Mini-­‐Keypad that must be used to program the Video Module.
How to Use Mini-­‐Keypad:

1. Module Installation: You will need to run the wiring harness thru the firewall and attach your power module to the harness inside the cab of your truck. Place the module under the dash out of the way
of your pedals.
2. Data Link Connection: The Data Link connector is located in different locations based on the year of the truck.
98.5-99: The triangle shaped connector is located on the driver’s side of the engine in the wiring harness near the power steering pump.
2000-2002: The three prong flat connector is located on the top of the fuel lift pump that is located on the driver’s side of the engine directly below the map sensor.
Note: on some 2001 trucks the connector is located on the driver’s side of the engine in the wiring harness near the power steering pump.

If the complete throttle valve control module is current-less (e.g. connector disconnected) the throttle valve moves into a particular, specified mechanical position, which signals an increased idle speed with an engine at operating temperature. If only the Throttle Position (TP) actuator -V60- is current-less, the throttle valve also moves into the specified mechanical position (emergency running gap), however, since Closed Throttle Position (CTP) switch -F60- can still be recognized, an “almost normal” is reached via the respective ignition angle retardation. If the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects a malfunction at Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G69-, Throttle Position (TP) actuator -V60- is switched current-less by the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the throttle valve moves into the specified mechanical position (emergency running gap) again.

The Granatelli Big G Mileage Miser module is intended to give the end user a modest increase in horsepower & torque but at the same time increase the vehicle fuel efficiency. Mileage Miser has been reported to make up to a 5 MPG improvement but your mileage may vary based on engine life, driving style, altitude, vehicle weight and configuration as well as what you intend to tow with said vehicle and at what read you intend to tow. Mileage Miser should deliver power smoothly without ill effects. The truck should behave just like it did when it was stock, with the exception of the increase in power, torque and improved mileage. Under aggressive driving conditions as fuel is added to the vehicle, exhaust gas temperatures will increase slightly. It is always a good idea to monitor exhaust gas temperatures with a pyrometer but usually not a requirement with Mileage Miser.
