COWL TOP VENT PANEL
1. Remove windshield wiper pivot arms. Remove cowl top vent panel retaining screws. Release cowl top
vent panel retaining clips. Remove windshield wiper fluid hose. Remove cowl top vent panel.
2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE

2001 Ford Taurus V6-3.0L DOHC VIN S Vehicle Level – Heating and Air Conditioning – Expansion Block/Orifice Tube – Service and Repair – With Damaged Evaporator Core Orifice
1. Remove the condenser to evaporator line. 2. Pull back the protective cover. 3. Index mark the condenser to evaporator line. Disconnect the two halves of the condenser to evaporator line. 4. Inspect the evaporator core orifice for damage. 5. Holding the special tool T-handle stationary, rotate the special tool body to remove the evaporator core orifice. 6. Screw the end of the special tool into the broken evaporator core orifice. 7. Holding the special tool T-handle stationary, rotate the special tool body to remove the broken evaporator core orifice.

Introduction: Remove/Install rear sub-frame bushes in Mondeo. Can be used in situ – no need to remove sub-frame from vehicle. Applications: Ford Mondeo 2001, 10/2000 onwards
3.1 Ensure that the vehicle is adequately supported on axle stands before working under the vehicle.
3.2 Although there is no need to remove the sub-frame from the vehicle it will be necessary to lower it to gain access to both sides of the bush housing.

Tools needed: T30 Torx Bit, power drill, 15/64” drill bit, 10 mm socket, ratchet and short extension, stanley knife or tin snips, small clamp; optional: one caulk tube of silicone adhesive
BEFORE PAINTING – FIT BUMPER COVER AS FOLLOWS:
1. Remove the factory Air Dam by removing the five 10 mm hex bolts; discard the bolts and Air Dam.
2. Using the T30 Torx Bit and remove the two torx head bolts at each end of the factory painted upper bumper cover; save these bolts.
3. Using a stanley knive or tin snips, trim away approximately ž” of material from under the bottom edge of the factory upper bumper cover on each side at the area where the cover curves into the center bumper opening. This will allow clearance for the upper edge of the TMD Bumper Cover to slide up into this area. It is necessary to gently pull or pry out on the factory upper bumper cover to trim it.

Prep Work And Check List
Clean the Surface of the Box sides on your truck with denatured alcohol or wax remover. It is IMPORTANT that the surface is clean so that our Box seal will adhere properly to the Truck box.
Install Rails And Seals
1. There are two rails. Put the rail with the 3rd leg hinge clamp (Fig.1) closest to the cab on the bed rail. Make sure the rail is as close as possible to the cab. Remove the blue paper. Push the rail down, then do the same for the other side.
2. To clamp the rail on the truck bed use a 5/16” socket, wrench or drill then tighten the screws on clamps. Be careful not to over tighten! (Fig 2.) You may use the preset spots on each rail.

REMOVAL 1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 3. DISCONNECT UPPER RADIATOR HOSE 4. DISCONNECT PS PUMP FROM ENGINE (a) Disconnect the 2 PS air hoses from the air intake chamber and resonator. (b) Remove the bolt holding the PS pressure tube clamp to the frame. (c) Remove the drive belt (See page SR–3). (d) Remove the bolt and nut, and disconnect the PS pump from the engine. 5. DISCONNECT A/C COMPRESSOR FROM ENGINE (a) Disconnect the A/C compressor connector. (b) Remove the drive belt (See page AC–17).
