1. Remove windshield wiper pivot arms. Remove cowl top vent panel retaining screws. Release cowl top
vent panel retaining clips. Remove windshield wiper fluid hose. Remove cowl top vent panel.

Additional Parts needed when you have a Dragon Filter, 1 x 3″-3″ Coupler / 2 x 3″ Clamp Remove bolts securing OEM air cleaner box, loosen clamps on OEM rubber intake pipe. Remove the coolant transfer / PCV hardline from from OEM intake and engine. Mark the coolant tranfer hose origins, install the 10mm hose supplied in kit to those 2 locations. Remove the OEM rubber intake tube, remove the OEM air cleaner box by pulling upwards. Wipe the throttlebody clean of any grease, install the 2.5″-3″ coupler onto throttlebody, secure with OEM clamp. Removal 1. Remove the intake manifold cover. 2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 2 connector (A), and remove the breather pipe (B), then remove the intake air duct (C). 3. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose (A), brake booster vacuum hose (B), vacuum hose (C) and vacuum line mounting bolts (D). 4. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister hose (A) and the transmission breather hose clamp bracket (B). 5. Remove and plug the water bypass hoses (C). 6. Remove the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from the intake manifold. – Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 1 connector – Throttle actuator connector – Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor connector – Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve connector – Intake manifold tuning (IMT) (intake manifold runner control (IMRC)) actuator connector
7. Remove the upper cover mounting bolts and nuts sequentially in two or three steps, then remove the upper cover. 8. Remove the intake manifold mounting bolts and nuts sequentially in two or three steps, then remove the intake manifold and spacer.
Installation
1. Install the gasket and spacer on the injector base. 2. Install the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts and nuts sequentially in two or three steps. Always use a new intake manifold gasket. 3. Install the upper cover. Tighten the bolts and nuts sequentially in two or three steps. Always use a new gasket. 4. Install the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from the intake manifold.

Note: You must be able to gain access underneath the vehicle in order to remove and replace sections of the intake system. Always ensure the vehicle is securely raised before working underneath.
Step 1: Remove Factory Intakes & Air Box Remove engine cover.
Using basic tools, disconnect all hoses and electrical connectors attached to the factory intake tubes. Disconnect and remove intakes and remove factory air box & air filter assembly. On the rear, the factory “S” boot connecting to the rear turbo remains.
Optional Step: Modifying Your Factory Air Box Scoop
From the factory, the air box features a “scoop” at the front of the vehicle to direct outside air in. You can make a cut to create a scoop that serves this same function with the new air intake:
