The Mag-Hytec pan is designed to fit the factory Dodge #727 transmission body as supplied as original equipment. However, in some applications, or because of the use of certain factory options and/or after market equipment, there may be clearance problems between your Mag-Hytec pan and other vehicle components. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and installer to ensure that there is no contact between the pan and other moving or fixed vehicle components. Contact with any vehicle component or the modifying of the Mag-Hytec pan voids the warranty. Mag-Hytec assumes no liability, expressed or implied, for damage or injury to persons or property.

• Whenever it’s necessary to remove a vibration damper, only a proper puller tool should be used.
• DO NOT use a hammer during installation.
• Honing or machining Fluidampr bore is not recommended. A diametrical press fit of .0005″ to .0015″ is recommended for proper damper function. The only items you need to complete this installation are a flat-head screwdriver, and a Phillips head screwdriver, and a T15 and T20 torx driver. Also an expired credit card or similar (see step 1) is required. Note that this installation is done on an E90 LCI. The installation is similar for non LCI vehicles, depending on whether you have a button strip for heated seats, PDC, etc. PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS WHOLE INSTRUCTION GUIDE TO UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS AND TO SEE WHERE THE INSTRUCTIONS DIFFER FOR VEHICLES WITH THIS STRIP.

This installation guide is intended to supplement the BMW Installation Instructions to help you with the installation of the BMW Sirius Receiver for X5 (E53) with Navigation. This write-up describes the process of replacement of a soft top for a Mazda Miata. My vehicle is a 92, but I think that this might be very similar for many model years of Miata. I refer to this as “removal and installation” because removing the old top can be (at least was for me) a task requiring as much effort as installation of the new top. This is particularly true when you are not an expert at removing convertible tops, or have no previous experience replacing Miata tops. Without adequate instructions this can (and did for me) turn into a job taking 15 to 20 hours and requiring a few trips to the hardware store. Instructions from Mazda or from the people who sell you the top might claim that the job will “take you an afternoon with a few common tools”. Good luck with that! I’m writing this in hopes that someone else will not have as much difficulty as I did.

Jackson Racing Supercharger Systems are designed to be installed by individuals with good mechanical sense and with the proper tools. Use your discretion – if you are not a competent mechanic, do not attempt this installation.
Before proceeding with the installation, it is important to know that to validate the 2 year, 100K warranty on your new J/R supercharger, you must completely fill out the Moss Motors / Jackson Racing warranty card that comes in every kit, including serial number which is on a small white ‘bar code’ label on the body of the supercharger. Write down all of the numbers which appear on that label in the appropriate space on the warranty card. Be certain to do this now because once your supercharger is installed, it may be almost impossible to retrieve that serial number.
