Monster Exhaust System Installation:
1. Disconnect the negative (ground) cable from the battery (if there is more than one battery, disconnect both negative cables). Secure the cable so it cannot accidentally come in contact with the post.
2. Raise the vehicle and support it securely with properly weight-rated safety stands, ramps or a commercial hoist. Take care to balance the vehicle to prevent it from slipping or falling. Step 1: Position truck on a flat surface and lift vehicle by the frame so that the front wheels are off the ground using a floor jack and jack stands or a (2) two post lift if available and remove the front wheels and tires. Locate the front sway bar and unbolt the lower end link. Do this on both sides of vehicle. Next locate the lower track bar mount on the passenger side of the vehicle and unbolt from axle. (Insert B)
Step 2: Place an index mark on the stock coil and a matching one on the lower coil pocket. This will allow you to replace the coils in the stock location Next locate the upper shock mounts (they are located in the engine compartment) and remove the upper shock hardware. Next remove the 3 nuts from the upper shock mounts. Do this on both sides of vehicle. Now remove the lower shock mounting bolts and remove the shocks by pulling them up through the engine compartment. Do this on both sides of vehicle.

1. Apply masking tape completely around the factory upper and lower grille to protect the paint (as shown).
2. Open the hood and remove the plastic header panel covers (by lifting straight up) and six (6) of the top plastic push fasteners.
3. Remove the four (4) factory fasteners (#2 Phillips bit or square drive bit) at the top, bottom and on each side of the factory grille.
4. Unclip the top and the bottom of the factory grille from the bumper cover by pushing down on the upper tabs and pulling up on the lower tabs and pull straight out (shown removed in order to show the screw and tab locations).
5. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pry off the factory black plastic grille fin section from the outer chrome frame.

PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Starting at the Passenger/Right side-front of the vehicle, remove the front factory body bolt & washer.(not re-used) (Fig 1), From the list above select the Passenger/Right side front mounting bracket and the spacer Block secure to vehicle with (1) 12mm x 150mm Hex Bolt, (1) 12mm Flat Washer, (1) 12mm Lock Washers (Fig 1A). Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
3. Next, select the T Bolt from the list of parts above, and place the T Bolt into the opening on the Passenger/Right side bottom front frame rail (Fig 2 shows T Bolt placed into frame rail.

Pre-installation Preparation
1. Verify kit contents.
2. Remove protective wrapping from inserts and place on a non-abrasive surface.
3. Remove the brackets and hardware from the box.

Remove Factory Grille & Frame Assembly
1. Open hood.
2. Remove eighteen 8mm nuts and bolts that hold the frame and grille in place.
IMPORTANT: Keep all hardware in a safe location. You will need this to reinstall your grille.
3. After removing the grille shell lay grille face down on a protective work surface such as a blanket.

Remove Plugs – Driver’s Side
Counting from the front, locate the third (3rd) and seventh (7th) plugs on the inner sill for a Quad Cab. For a Mega Cab locate the third (3rd) and eighth (8th) plugs. Use a flat screwdriver to pry them out

Assemble Rear Mounting Bracket Assembly – Driver’s Side
Locate the Rear Mounting Brackets and the Mounting Bracket Support Nuts in the parts kit. Use a Medium Hex Bolt to attach a Support Nut to the back of the Rear Mounting Bracket. If you have a Mega Cab, remove the tape and cut as indicated for the Mega Cab Rear Bracket, if necessary.
