program 2009 beetle key search result

VW captured major attention and significant sales when it brought out its New Beetle in 1998. As the Bug’s popularity
began to flag, new versions such as the Turbo S were unveiled. But what could generate renewed interest more than a
convertible model? When the droptop Bug hit the streets in 2002, heads were turning and wallets were being reached for
once again. The Beetle convertible comes in GL and GLS trim levels. As with other VWs, the GLX model has been
discontinued for 2004. The GL and GLS can be equipped with a 115-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 150-hp, 1.8-liter
turbocharged inline four. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, and a six-speed automatic is optional. New color
combinations are added for 2004-along with new wheels-and a Monsoon audio system is now standard on the GLS. The
power top comes down in 13 seconds.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Field Operations Program evaluates electric and other advanced technology vehicles in real-world applications and environments. Information generated by the Program is targeted to fleet managers and others considering the leasing and deployment of advanced technology vehicles. The Program subjects vehicles to several types of performance and operations tests; this report only addresses the Fleet Evaluation testing of 10 electric Toyota RAV4s by Southern California Edison (SCE). Vehicles subjected to Fleet Evaluation are driven in “normal” fleet environments. Most of the data addresses the 1-year test period (4th quarter 1998 through 3rd quarter 1999). The 10 RAV4s were picked randomly from SCE’s fleet of 245 RAV4s.

2009 KIA Optima Introduction

The 2009 Optima is presented with new front, side and rear styling cues, which build upon
Kia Motors’ philosophy of creating dynamic vehicles that evoke passion. The fog lamps and
lower front grille have been enlarged and the headlamps narrowed to create an aggressively
sharper look. Wider side garnishes add sportiness while the acute front lines continue toward the
back, ending on a distinctly edged trunk lid. To complete the redesigned rear fascia, tail lights are
narrowed to enhance Optima’s sleeker cosmetic appearance.
