LIGHT DISARM RESISTORS
The resistors are connected into the wiring at each wheel to bypass the original dampening solenoid so that the Road Sensing Suspension will function without giving the driver a suspension error message on the instrument cluster.
INSTALL RESISTORS
Cut the wires leading to the dampening solenoid on the strut/shock. Connect the wires to the ends of the resistor. (This is an in-line resistor so it does not matter which wire goes in or out.) Tape up both ends with suitable electrical tape to prevent both shorts and corrosion. Tie back out of way with a plastic strap.

This blower motor has undergone some changes in design so the installation procedures have also changed. The original motor was a two piece motor and the wheel was secured with a set screw. GM changed the design to a one piece unit with a fiberglass heat shield and the wheel is pressed on. On some of the models you may need to remove the front cradle bolts so the engine can be rocked forward. This will help keep the valve cover from interfering with the blower motor replacement. On all models; disconnect the negative battery cable.

The GMRC-03 is designed to be used in Cadillac’s that do not have Onstar or amplified systems. It will retain the warning chimes that are lost when the factory radio is removed. The GMRC-03 will also provide a 12 volt switched accessory wire for proper radio operation. *Note: The GMRC-03 can be used in Cadillac’s that come with a factory amplifier; however the factory amplifier must be bypassed and the speaker wires on the GMRC-03 must not be used. Running new wires to the speakers is recommended. If the Cadillac also has Onstar, that feature will be lost.

At Cadillac, excellence is our only standard – and the experts are taking notice. Take our Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT, for example. Edmunds.com praises the Escalade family for such virtues as “endless V8 power, plush ride quality, more nimble than you might think, comfortable seats, plenty of cargo capacity, all the latest technological gadgets, best-in-class towing capacity.”* The automotive experts at familycar.com call Escalade “big, distinctive and cool”** and say, “… the Escalade has an edgy, hip air about it that breaks the mold of a typical luxury SUV.”** And in November, 2004, forbes.com declared, “The Escalade is a classic, and no SUV commands more respect.”† They also named it the best SUV in its price class.† Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT.
