This Service & Airbag Reset Tool allows you to reset your car’s Airbag Fault Light & Service (Oil Service & Inspection Service) Indicators on VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda manufactured from 1994 to the latest one that using CAN-BUS protocol, please read the Compatible Vehicles for detail models.
1 Performs the following reset functions:
1.1 Cars manufactured from 1994 to 06/1999:
1.1.1 “Oil” - Oil Service, 15000 km.
1.1.2 “IN1” - Inspection 1, 30000 km or 365 days.
1.1.3 “IN2” - Inspection 2, 35000 km or 730 days.
1.2 Cars manufactured >06/1999 with display:
1.2.1 [Service Now] or [Service in….] - Inspection Service, 15000 km or 365 days.
1.2.2 [Service Now] or [Service in….] - Longlife, 35000 km or 365 days.
1.3 Airbag Fault Light (Cars manufactured from 1994 and up).
2 How to Use:
2.1 Resetting the service interval indicator/display:
2.1.1 Switch off ignition.
2.1.2 Plug device into car diagnostic system.
2.1.3 Press the “SELECT” button to select program as follow (Programming should be in accordance to car’s service display! Mixed programming may caused error and is not recommended!):
2.1.4 Switch on ignition but DO NOT start engine (Programming can be done only with the ignition on!).
2.1.5 For cars manufactured >06/1999:
2.1.6 press the “ENTER” button briefly and the selected LED will extinguish for approx. 10 sec. and then illuminate again;
2.1.7 switch off ignition;
